The Viewpoints Workshop is embarking on its first season — and we’re auditioning to find our family of artists.
Joining the Workshop is a one year commitment, from August 2014 to July 2015. Rehearsals are Sundays 11a-9p,with tech & performance the last weeks of OCTOBER, JANUARY, APRIL & JULY.
All artists are required to attend evening rehearsals Monday-Saturday during production weeks.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Our collaborative will be comprised of performance/ visual/ installation artists of complementary talents.
We are holding group auditions to find artists that are prepared to expose themselves to one another and pool talents.
Please prepare a 45-90 second piece that best features you inside of your most confident medium.
ACTORS
Any monologue or self derived piece from whatever genre you feel most passionate about.
SINGERS
Bring sheet music and an instrument if required. Piano & accompanist is available on-site.
DANCERS
Preload your soundtrack onto any device with a headphone port, or bring a CD.
COMPOSERS/ PLAYWRIGHTS
Please bring material you have written to read/sing yourself or give to one of our company members to perform.
DESIGNERS/ UNCLASSIFIABLE
Please bring your portfolio and/ or any relevant models/ samples/ projections.
We are looking for designers of all mediums.
If you would like to audition more than one of the mediums please plan to do both back to back and not exceed 3 minutes.
